Help Build What's Next

611 grew from a simple idea: what we already have can help meet real needs when it's shared.

Today, 611 is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving up to 90 families each month through free access to clothing, household goods, everyday essentials, and food.

611 fills an important gap in Evanston, where similar resources don't exist. We make these resources available without unnecessary barriers, creating a place where people can get what they need without having to prove they need it.

We're also intentional about what goes onto our shelves. 611 accepts new and like-new items that are clean, useful, and ready to be used. Keeping quality goods in circulation means they can be useful to someone else instead of ending up unused or in a landfill.

Your donation keeps that possible. It helps keep the Free Store stocked, keep 611 running, and make sure this resource is here when people need it. A recurring donation gives 611 a steady foundation to plan ahead and build what's next.
